I like to travel, as much as I like to stay home and spent my time in front of my computer. I am interested in the international news. I still play mandolin, harmonica and I paint. I go to the ballroom dancing often. I am a retired IBM'er. Once in a while, I go to the casinos to play poker. I am also good backgammon player. My best feature, I think, is being an understanding person. I am a caring, affectionate and loving person. I cook and I like to go to the restaurants too. I also like traveling to close or far places. The cabernet Sauvignon is my favored drink. Mariner's Harbor in Kingston and Billy Joe in Front Street in Newburgh, NY are my favored restaurants by the Hudson River, which is a reminder of Istanbul to me. I go to those places to eat and dance. I am about to finish writing two books, with printed and Internet versions, on Turkish language. It would be nice if I found a lady to help me editing and recording my books. It would be even nicer if we could be friends too.

When raising a family, how important is it that your kids learn to speak Turkish?
Not so important, it depends on where they are going to live. I have 3 grown up sons and none of them speak Turkish. The youngest one just married a Turkish girl. He is a Spanish teacher and now started learning Turkish.
