*Looking for Men 40-55 from Northern California, USA* I am a kind, easygoing person. I like to travel, but that has slowed down a lot since I got my dogs. I made the decision to try Turkish personals for a couple of reasons. First, my first and only marriage was with a Turk. I recently realized that while that relationship didn't work out, many of the happiest years of my life were spent with this man. We lasted about 10 years all in all. I lived in Istanbul from 2009 to about 2012. I always said the marriage fell apart because we didn't share the same values (Muslim vs Christian). The thing about him was that his values were very selfish. Neither Muslim or Christian. I own my own house with a pool and I don't need you. I am not like Turkish girls like that. I am not a parasite. But I am also not a whore. I am a feminist and Turkish men don't like that. I am an educated woman who seeks to find a man that deserves her and is not boring. My Turkish is not fluent but I lived there and worked there and I understand many things about the culture and language that do not have to be explained to me. I also learned how to cook many dishes from my former mother in law and I love the food. I miss summer in Bodrum! Anyway, I thought I would give this a try. Thanks for your kind attention. Just lookin for my best friend that want to live live life in California and go home and be astounded at the richness of the culture regularly. I will never move out of California.
